SLPT Completes Acquisition of BorgWarner’s China Charging Business
SLPT Group has finalized the 100% acquisition of BorgWarner New Energy (Xiangyang) Co., Ltd.—the China charging division of global auto parts leader BorgWarner. Under the terms of the agreement, SLPT Group will take over BorgWarner’s core businesses in charging stations, smart grids, and intelligent energy solutions.
This strategic acquisition will strengthen SLPT’s existing smart-grid operations and accelerate R&D in advanced grid-integration technologies. By integrating BorgWarner’s cutting-edge electric-drive expertise and mature manufacturing systems, SLPT Group is expanding its footprint from traditional automotive components into electrification and smart-mobility solutions.
